Replacement Duckbill Valves are essential for effective pumping because along with the other parts of your breast shield kit, they contribute to the suction power of your breast pump. Our valves are BPA free, 100% food-grade silicone, and made in FDA compliant facilities. Due to wear and tear of everyday use, we recommend replacing these valves on a regular basis (every 1-3 months). Installing the duckbill valves is easy – simply place them into the breast shield (flange) body firmly. To remove, gently pinch the small nub on the valve and pull. Properly assembling your shield kit is essential to get the ideal performance while pumping. All Zomee breast pump parts should be sterilized or washed with warm water and soap. This product may be covered by your FSA/HSA account.
