Calling all passionate individuals seeking to support underserved demographics in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) retail space!
Nurturing Expressions is hiring a retail expert to provide maternity and postpartum support, breastfeeding support and education, compression therapy, mastectomy prosthesis, and more to our clients. Whether working with DSHS to provide a new mom with a rental breast pump, compassionately fitting a cancer survivor with a mastectomy form and bra to reinstate her self-esteem, scheduling a one-on-one lactation appointment with our company owner (Tracy Corey, RN, IBCLC, with over twenty years of medical experience), or fitting a new mom into the perfect size flange for her new breast pump and setting her up for pumping success, we at Nurturing Expressions provide knowledgeable and empathetic support to a wide range of clients from every background. We bill insurance companies for breast pumps, compression, and mastectomy items.

The ideal applicant will provide enthusiastic, effective sales assistance, and customer service to our clients. A successful candidate must be a mindful of details, coexist well with others, and have an interest in the healthcare field, as well as the ability to show sensitivity and discretion when engaging with clients. Retail Boutique Customer Specialists will be expected to engage with multiple customers on a daily basis. This will include selling clients the appropriate items for their needs as well as answering and making phone calls and/or maintaining email communications.
Boutique hours run from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturdays. Exact schedule will be determined at time of hire with Saturday availability nonnegotiable.
Essential Duties:
-Converse with customers compassionately, creating a supportive, warm, and engaging environment
-Answer phones courteously and promptly
-Meet each client where they are at, taking into consideration their situation to recommend the breast pump most suited for their lifestyle
-Thoroughly demonstrate use of equipment and retail items, when to restock, how to clean, and how to identify damage
– Ring up sales on the register, report and handle all required transactions, issue receipts and pack merchandise
-Actively work with stock including but not limited to: processing, stocking, replenishing, displaying, and merchandising to maximize selling opportunities
-Work effectively with team members to ensure the selling floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom are clean and well maintained
Qualifications:
-High School Graduate or equivalent required
-12 months experience in retail and/or customer service with medical background preferred
-Experience in Women’s Health preferred
-Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record
-Ability to bend, lift or move items from both high and low shelves, pull/push up to 40 lbs., capacity to be on one’s feet multiple hours in a row
