Breastfeeding and chestfeeding are beautiful, but sometimes you need a little help. Nurturing Expressions is here for you.

Nursing our babies is natural, so breastfeeding should come naturally, right? The truth is, breastfeeding is not always easy and is often challenging for new parents. That’s where Lactation Consultants come in. Lactation consultants are clinical healthcare professionals who specialize in helping chest and breastfeeding moms. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) has specialized training and has passed rigorous exams in order to better help nursing parents. Nurturing Expressions offers one-on-one lactation consultations with an IBCLC to help all parents navigate nursing and lactation struggles.

Simply fill out the form below or call us to schedule a lactation consultation.

Why Call a Lactation Consultant

• Poor or delayed milk supply

• Trouble getting baby to feed or stay awake

• Difficulty hitting weight milestones

• Tongue tie, struggles with latching or sucking

• Postpartum emotional and physical concerns

• Marathon nursing sessions that leave you drained

• Trouble finding a comfortable nursing position

• Painful, irritated nipples or breast infection

Nurturing Expressions played a huge hand in pulling me out of some severe post partum depression with my first. Apparently he had a tongue and lip tie that no one (including docs and midwives) suggested to get checked out. Tracy is insanely knowledgeable about all things breast feeding related and never made me feel silly with the questions I would ask.
